On November 10, 12 and 13 we attended UNITE PARTNER SUMMIT EMEA 2020. An annual event organized by Salesforce.ORG, this time in virtual format, with the aim of creating a collaboration framework between Salesforce, partners and developers of the EMEA region.
For three days, we were able to participate in conferences, workshops and discussion panels aimed at sharing success stories and the latest news from the Salesforce ecosystem applied to the Education and Non-Profit sectors.
The sessions, strongly marked by the impact that COVID has caused in organizations, addressed the need to accelerate the digitization of their processes, mainly recruitment.
Within this context, we were able to share and analyze different solutions, deployed by Salesforce, in order to adapt the operation of the key processes of organizations to this “new normality”.
Within the field of Education, Salesforce.ORG presented us with the EDA (Education Data Architecture) Product Roadmap. The Salesforce data architecture for the Education vertical, and whose future releases are mainly focused on improving the stability and performance of the solution, to guarantee the growth of the architecture.
Inside the new features of the Winter 21’ release, the inclusion of improvements to the Accounts and Contacts objects stands out to prevent the deletion of the Education History object, thus ensuring the integrity of our ORG data.
Other examples of relevant improvements are the adaptation to new locations: Japan, Ireland, Holland, Finland and Germany, offering support and translation into these languages; the inclusion of new family relationships in the standard to identify different family situations: foster parents, person in charge of custody, etc. and new values in the gender field to promote inclusion.
Within the Education segment, the solutions aimed at digitizing the recruitment, admission and onboarding processes in universities and study centers took on special prominence in the sessions.
The combination of the different Salesforce clouds, mainly Customer Communities, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, allow universities to create a platform for direct communication with the student, provide support in the aforementioned processes and design personalized experiences in order to bring the university to the student.
Omega CRM has been collaborating for years with the main educational institutions in Spain, promoting the digitization process, in order to accelerate recruitment, maximize conversion and improve the student experience.
In the field of Non-Profit, the sessions revolved around the news of Salesforce.ORG to maximize the impact of the Salesforce Platform in these organizations, promoting a rapid transition from a face-to-face collection model to an online model, providing the tools to orchestrate personalized journeys aimed at establishing a lasting relationship and promoting recurring donations and enabling a powerful analytics engine, necessary to monitor the main KPIs of the organization.
On the other hand, and during the celebration of these conferences, the most influential partners in EMEA during the year 2020 were recognized in different categories and where Omega CRM was awarded as EMEA Education Partner of the Year.
This international award is the result of team effort, of the trust placed by our clients that reaffirms our commitment to the education sector, together with Salesforce. As we like to say: “Together We Grow”
